Safety is more than a Passion of WWS, it is a part of who we are and how we operate. Through Safety Training & Certifications, Safety Affiliations & Partnerships, Safety Equipment, and Employee Physical/ Drug Screening, we ensure that our clients’ safety needs & criteria are not just met but exceeded.

PRACTICES

• Completion of a JSA form for each job, making sure that each employee fully understands the risks and safety concerns of each job to the fullest extent
• Perform stretching prior to beginning job, in order to minimize the risk of muscle strain
• Inspection of PPE and Climb Gear daily
• Corporate Safety Manager reviews audit results daily
• On the job audits
• Near miss reports and reviews
• Weekly Safety meetings are held focusing on current job hazards and hazards that are unique to each site, and other safety topics
• Inspection of Rapid Decent Devices
• WWS Weekly Meeting with Site Leads to discuss needs, concerns and any Safety Issues that may need to be addressed
• Leadership Team reviews weekly report from Corporate Safety Manager of audit results
• Enforcement of company substance abuse policy including pre-employment testing, post-employment testing as well as random testing

SAFETY AFFILIATIONS & PARTNERSHIPS

We have retained the services of ENSA Access & Rescue, who sit on the board of the AWEA Safety Committee, World Safety Organization, ANSI, and many other Safety Organizations.  They also assist with our continued education program for OSHA Compliance & OSHA Outreach Classes to stay up-to-date and current on new industry regulations and standards. ENSA helps to audit all policies, procedures, and programs.

In order to ensure our safety promises and commitment, WWS also conducts Formal Quarterly Audits of all Health and Safety Compliance, as well as all site relationships to ensure effective management of all areas. We aim to prevent unsafe acts and take all audits of unsafe acts of the utmost seriousness and importance.  We pride ourselves on superior professional performance and intend to maintain this reputation and evolve with the industry and our future partners.
